2018 Innovation Name: Mobility Pathway
Awards: 59th Most Innovative Company
The Mobility Pathway successfully tested new ways of managing major change in government organisations. It focused on staff from Family and Community Services who were likely to lose their job because of changes to the way disability services are managed in NSW. The project had three key aims:
• Keep talented staff
• Reduce personal impact on staff
• Reduce costs to Government Through a coordinated, new approach, staff were supported, trained, assessed, and matched to new roles across the government sector. Benefits have been greater than expected with INS placing over 325 people in more than 30 organisations and saving over $30m.
