Replay lets you take an important exam on your device, even with poor internet or no internet. If the internet drops out, you can’t tell – the software “suspends” the real-time internet and, instead of freezing, your browser looks and behaves as though it is still online.

It uses new technology – service workers – which work like a server within your web browser. If the internet drops, pages switch to “reliable mode” and you simply keep going with your test. Your answers are cached securely on the computer, giving it all the information it needs to continue to act like an application.
